Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure and Release Agreement
- Payment for invention assessment services indicates that the Buyer accepts this Non-Disclosure Agreement between the buyer and John S. Jacob, his companies, employees, contractors, vendors and partners (hereinafter "the Provider.")
- The Buyer releases the Provider from any liability arising from any action the User subsequently takes or does not take in relation to information provided in any communication or advisement to the Buyer.
- The Buyer acknowledges the need to seek professional financial, legal and engineering advice in relation to any invention, innovation or business idea they are considering. The Provider provides an opinion on the potential of the Buyer's idea as submitted, and does not warrant that his is the best or only possible opinion.
- The Provider shall not intentionally disclose, reveal or otherwise publicize the user’s submission, the nature of the idea, or any details relating to it. The Provider shall take reasonable precautions to prevent such information from becoming known to any third party not bound by this agreement.
- The Provider shall not seek to benefit from, exploit, develop or patent any idea or part thereof submitted for evaluation, except as such ideas are already in the public domain or are previously known to the Provider. The Buyer retains all priority on patentable ideas submitted for assessment.
